Maria Socarras specializes in creative fine art portrait photography both on location and in her studio.  As a native Floridian, with Cuban roots, she has a keen understanding of music, dance and art, which strongly influences her artistic expression through photography. She has travelled extensively photographing families in some of the most iconic locations in the world such as Madrid, Paris, and Rome. Maria has trained with award-winning photographers in the pursuit of perfecting her techniques of blending natural light and dramatic effects. Her artistic insight extends to fine art nudes by focusing on finding and capturing the inner beauty of the “real woman.” She believes in using her imagination to capture each woman’s individuality, which in turn expresses her glamour and femininity. Through the use of her creative vision, she finds it rewarding to help women feel empowered, confident and beautiful.

Maria currently reside in Miami Beach, Florida with her husband Rasciel, her beloved daughter Natalia and their dogs Taz and Ajax.
